1. Who we are
Ads on Wheels S.A.R.L. ("Ads on Wheels", "we", "us") is a Lebanese limited-liability company based in Beirut, Lebanon. We operate a mobile out-of-home advertising network and this website. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
We process personal data in line with Lebanese Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data and other applicable rules. Questions about privacy can be sent to contact@adsonwheelslb.com.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form and briefs: your name, company or agency, email, phone number, the service you are interested in, your preferred start date, your message and, if you send one, the design you created in our 3D Studio.
- Bookings and contracts: contact and billing details, campaign information, artwork and content you supply, quotes, invoices and payment records.
- Client portal: your account email, login and session data, and the campaigns, reports and files linked to your account.
- Fleet GPS data: our own vehicles carry GPS trackers that record location, speed, time, battery and screen status. This data concerns our fleet and its operation; our drivers are informed about this tracking separately.
- QR codes and short links: we count scans and clicks per city, per vehicle and per day. We do not collect names, phone numbers or other personal details of the people who scan, and we do not build individual profiles.
- Website analytics: we use privacy-friendly analytics that measure page views and general traffic sources in aggregate, without advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
- Essential cookies and local storage: to remember your language, your cookie choice and, if you log in, your session.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare route plans, proposals and quotes.
- To perform our contracts: plan, run, monitor and report on campaigns.
- To invoice, keep accounts and meet our legal and tax obligations.
- To operate our fleet safely: routing, supervision, maintenance and incident handling.
- To produce proof-of-performance reports. Reports contain fleet data and aggregated counts, never personal data about people in the street.
- To keep this website secure and working, prevent spam and abuse, and improve its content.
We rely on your request or consent, on the performance of a contract with you, on our legal obligations, and on our legitimate interest in running a safe and efficient business. We do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Vercel Inc. – website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
- Supabase Inc. – database, file storage and login for the client portal.
- Our email provider – to send and receive messages and notifications.
- Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors and lawyers, where needed.
- Public authorities, courts or insurers, only where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers store or process data outside Lebanon, for example in the European Union or the United States. When this happens we choose reputable providers and rely on their contractual and technical safeguards to protect your data.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Contracts, invoices and accounting records: for the period required by Lebanese commercial and tax law.
- Client portal accounts: while the account is active, then up to 24 months after it is closed.
- Fleet GPS logs: up to 24 months, or longer if needed for a claim or an incident.
- QR scan and link counts: kept in aggregate form for reporting.
7. How we protect it
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls based on roles, strong authentication for staff and limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures and review them regularly.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- delete your data when we no longer need it or when you withdraw consent;
- stop using your data for a particular purpose, including marketing messages.
Send your request to contact@adsonwheelslb.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity and will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may also contact the competent Lebanese authority.
9. Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to run the site, plus privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can choose "Essential only" in the cookie notice and you can clear cookies in your browser at any time.
10. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. For any question, contact Ads on Wheels S.A.R.L., Beirut, Lebanon, at contact@adsonwheelslb.com.
